This is my first time in 35 years of using a waterbed mattress that I have purchased a conditioner. We have always just added bleach before. But since I'm hoping this will be our last mattress, I decided to go all out. Too early to tell if the product performs better than bleach. It is claimed it will help preserve the mattress material in addition to killing bacteria and fungus. It will be years before I know if that is true. In the mean time, I will say I liked that it was pre-measured and easy to apply. Also, getting an extra plug and cap was worth something.Had within just a few days.
