I bought this for my "Intro to Enology" class because the one-gallon-size wine kit was a lot less intimidating to me than the normal six-gallon kits. This was a great purchase for me because I didn't have ANYTHING I needed to make wine and the equipment kit has everything you need, including a little packet of no-rinse cleaner and sanitizer. The only thing I don't plan to use from this kit are the Zork corks, because I don't know much about them and I already had some swing-top bottles I want to use for bottling my wine. Also, I bought distilled water to add to the juice, but now I think I should've bought spring water instead. (Apparently the distillation process removes minerals from the water, and this is not ideal because the yeast like the minerals! So buy spring water, not distilled water.) Everything seems to be working fine, and my professional wine-making friend was jealous of the pretty multi-colored hydrometer included in this kit. Would definitely buy again.
