I bought these jars to make a Southern style hot sauce called "Peppa Sauce" with tobacco peppers from my garden. I am giving these away as Christmas presents. These bottles are the perfect size and they come with a little plastic topper that controls how fast the sauce comes out with a lid screws on securely. If you do purchase these buy a small bottle washer so that you can clean them prior to using.These bottles are the best size for bottling hot sauseThese bottles were perfect for making hot sauce and the drip top attachment is great.Unfortunately I have no funnel so I had to use a medicine dropper to fill each bottle. I would have loved a tiny funnel to fit into the tiny opening of the bottle!Love these jars. Perfect for converting my large batch of homemade vanilla into smaller bottles.While the bottles seemed like quality glass, the plastic lids were infuriating. About five of them would not thread all the way and acted like they were stripped. When using a more sturdy lid from a different bottle, that other lid worked just fine. The lids make me worry that they will be faulty and I am apprehensive on ordering any more.Very impressed with these little bottles. I asked a question (was confused if they included both the dropper tips and the shrink wrap or just one of your choice) and got an answer right away. The bottles arrived very well packaged, none broken, and I like the way they look and feel. I anticipate making vanilla for family and friends this Christmas, and these cute little bottles will be just the thing.My only wish is that they included the shrink wrap as well, instead of needing to pay an extra $5 for that, which I opted not to. But over all, I am very impressed with these bottles, dropper tops and lids.Worked well for my needThe drippers are easy to put on and the lid fits nicely over the top. I've bought bottles before where the drippers are already set inside the lid and, while more hygienic because you don't touch it, it makes it difficult to put the lid on.
