Fluffed my hair and left a residual peppermint smell - just a shade dry for me but very acceptable. Not as brittle dry as the Camomille (for very oily hair). I have been using this shampoo for years without"build up".I am a strong Aveda supporter, and love this shampoo! It smells great and leave your hair feeling really clean, like it does when you leave the salon.However, I don't like the conditioner. It doesn't feel very rich, and I feel like my hair always feels dry and crispy after using it. I like other Aveda conditioners better, like the sap moss.
