I just I never thought about how the red grenadine you see everywhere isn't really grenadine. I learned a few years ago that grenadine is traditionally made from pomegranate (vs the cherry flavor I always assumed it was), so I began the search for a natural grenadine.This case was the best bang for my buck and instead of paying almost 13 dollars for one bottle (with shipping, also listed here on Amazon, but I think from a different seller) I took the plunge and ordered a whole case of 6 bottles for 40 dollars instead. I'm glad I did, because I ended up finding it very tasty. I'm now down to my last bottle and need to order some more.We use it in mixed drinks (specifically bought it to make zombies!), but I also like a tiny bit in my water when I get sick of plain water. I like to stay very hydrated and especially in the winter I feel like I have to force myself to drink enough. Adding a small amount of the syrup really helps make it less of a chore, it gives a very subtle and slightly sour flavor (sour like having a slice of lemon in your water).
