We bought this Tiger Water boiler on December 11, 2010 and after 2 years + , it's still working fine. Because of the constant boiling of water, mineral deposit tends to materialize at the bottom so we have to make a point of cleaning it every 2 months or so. Just be careful when you clean and make sure the top of the unit is removed because you don't want water to get into the electronics portion of the boiler.With any luck, this unit will last me another 2 years :)
